David Axelrod’s joke on Twitter about Hillary Clinton’s pneumonia didn’t go over too well.

On Monday, Axelrod tweeted , “This one flu by me.” His tweet was a response to President Obama’s former Speechwriter Jon Lovett’s tweet which said, “not by a lung shot.”

In response to Axelrod’s joke, Trina Simone tweeted , “you are officially one of the deplorables! You are embarrassing yourself. This is so sad and disgusting.”

David Bailey told President Obama’s former senior advisor that his (David Bailey) non-support for the former secretary of state is not even enough for him to laugh at the joke.

Bailey tweeted , “David come on Trump has been way worse on hiding stuff. I don’t even support Hillary but come on man.”

Emily 65 looked at the tweet and simply decided that “Axe starting drinking early,” while Adrienne Gyrisse simply said, “That’s just wrong……”

Despite the thumbs down on his joke, Axelrod wasn’t finish letting everyone know how he really feels about Hillary Clinton’s health scare on Sunday.

Axelrod continued to doubt Clinton’s claim that her health scare was due to pneumonia and he questioned whether the former secretary of state is too secretive.

Axelrod tweeted , “Antibiotics can take care of pneumonia. What’s the cure for an unhealthy penchant for privacy that repeatedly creates unnecessary problems?”

Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway took notice of Axelrod’s comment and approved with three little words, “Whoa. Well said.”
